One RT Hit By Rob Flood As High As 15 Cm Due To Water Pasang

The tidal flood hit the North Jakarta area again on Sunday, February 9, 2025. The water began to inundate one RT area in Pluit Village, North Jakarta with a water level of about 15 cm.

"BPBD noted that currently the inundation occurred in 1 RT which was affected by the tidal wave," said Head of the DKI Jakarta BPBD Pusdatin, Mohamad Yohan when confirmed by VOI. There were no refugees due to the impact of the tidal flood.

Meanwhile, tidal flooding occurred due to the phenomenon of maximum tide of sea water along with the New Moon phase which has the potential to increase the maximum sea level in the form of coastal flooding or tidal flooding in the northern coastal area, Jakarta.

"The sea water pair caused the Fish Market Sluice Gate to be on standby on Sunday, February 9 at around 03.00 WIB," he said.

BPBD DKI Jakarta is still mobilizing personnel to monitor inundation conditions in each region and coordinate elements of the Natural Resources Service, Bina Marga Office, Gulkarmat Service to conduct inundation suction.

"We ask them to ensure that the water lines function properly together with the local village heads and sub-district heads. BPBD DKI urges the public to remain careful and alert to potential inundation," he said.
