JAKARTA - United States (US) Foreign Minister Marco Rubio is scheduled to visit Israel and a number of Arab countries in mid-February 2025.
Quoting Reuters, Friday, February 7, Rubio will visit the country in the Middle East after US President Donald Trump plans to take over Gaza and bring down Palestinians from the region.
Senior US State Department officials on Thursday evening, February 6, said Rubio would first attend the Munich Security Conference, continuing to Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia from February 13-18.
The US official added that Rubio would discuss the state of Gaza due to Israel's revenge through aggression after being attacked by Hamas on October 7, 2023.
During his visit to the Middle East, Rubio will also continue Trump's approach to efforts to tackle the status quo in Gaza.
