YOGYAKARTA - Soon Indonesia will have a "Silicon Valley" like the one in the United States. And that big project was named "Algorithm Hill".

The plan is that "Algorithm Hill" will be built in the Sukabumi area, West Java. Then what is the purpose of developing the Algorithm Hill area? Let's look at the explanation below

The development objectives of the Algorithm Hill area in Indonesia:

Improve infrastructure

The project development agenda for a perfect value of around one billion euros or around Rp. 18 trillion was initiated by Kiniku Bintang Raya. The state-owned company (BUMN) construction company PT Amarta Karya (AMKA) (Persero) is relied on as a partner for the Algorithm Hill infrastructure in the first phase for the next three years.

Chief Executive of PT Kiniku Bintang Raya KSO Budiman Sudjatmiko said that like Silicon Valley, Algorithm Hill will become a center for research and development and human resources based on 4.0 technology.

"This area (Sukabumi Algorithm Hill) will become one of the centers for the development of advanced innovation and technology, such as artificial intelligence, robotics, drones (drones), to solar panels for clean and environmentally friendly energy," said Budiman.

Budiman explained that the development objectives of this area are to improve the quality of the economy 4.0, improve education and create research and development centers, increase the tourism sector in the local area, and improve sustainable, resilient growth infrastructure and human resource development based on science and technology.

Built in the Sukabumi area because of its strategic location

As discussed above, a special area project for developing technology and industry 4.0 will be built on an area of 888 hectares. The location agenda of the development is in the Cikadang and Cibadak areas, Sukabumi, West Java.

The choice of the Sukabumi area as the location for the Algorithm Hill is certainly not without reason. A number of elements in Sukabumi are seen as truly strategic to develop this special area. Among them are the Bocimi Toll Road entrance (Section 2 Cibadak), Regional Feeder Seaport (PLPR) for Port Ratu Holiday and Trade Destinations, Sukabumi Cikembar Airport (coming soon), to the double tracks or double tracks of the Sukabumi Train.

The cost is estimated at IDR 18 trillion
