French Citizen Dies Suicide In Bali, Leaves Cremated Fee Money

DENPASAR - A man with French citizenship, Anthony Desgre (41), was found dead by suicide in a villa yard in South Denpasar District, Denpasar City, Bali.

"At 13.25 WITA, the victim's body was taken to Prof. Ngoerah Hospital, Denpasar, by the PMI ambulance in Denpasar City," said Denpasar Police Public Relations Head AKP I Ketut Sukadi, Wednesday, February 5.

At that time the witness initially thought there was a doll hanging from a tree. When checked, it turned out that the victim was hanging himself.

"Tofutahui saksi bahwa korban tinggal di villa tersebut sudah sekitar lima bulan dan korban orangnya tertutup," kata Sukadi.

From the location examination, evidence was found in the form of a paper containing the victim's desperate writing and chose to commit suicide.

In addition, a paper that reads for the victim's cremation fee with a sum of money in a brown envelope amounting to Rp229.00.

"At the crime scene where the victim died, the police line was installed. The case of the discovery of the body has been handled by the Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Denpasar Police," he said.
