KSAU Ensures That The Recruitment Of Disabilities Soldiers And Cyber Soldiers Is In Accordance With The Orders Of The TNI Commander

JAKARTA - Air Force Chief of Staff (KSAU) Marshal TNI Mohamad Tonny Harjono said his party followed the TNI Headquarters policy regarding people with disabilities to become soldiers or civil society to become cyber soldiers.

"For the recruitment of TNI personnel, we follow the policies of the TNI Headquarters. So, later how to be placed in the Army, Navy, Air Force, during the selection held at TNI Headquarters, we will receive these personnel," said Tonny as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, February 3.

The KSAU explained that if the policy was realized, then civilians who became cyber soldiers in the Indonesian Air Force could be educated at the 506 Education Squadron in Bogor Regency, West Java.

"The ability of graduates of the 506 Education Squadron is qualification equivalent to the ability of national standards. We have collaborated with BSSN (Syber and State Password Agency)," he said.

He also explained that the Indonesian Air Force opens up opportunities for people with disabilities to become cyber soldiers according to the policies of the TNI Headquarters.

"The personnel with disabilities are not a problem. We follow from the policies issued by the TNI Headquarters," he said.

Previously, TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto said that his party plans to open opportunities for people with disabilities to become members of the TNI.

Agus explained that the idea came when he saw that the ranks of the National Police had implemented the same thing, namely creating jobs for people with disabilities.

In addition, the Commander revealed the plan to recruit civilians with special abilities in cyber fields to facilitate the work of handling cyber attacks.
