Rector Husni Umar Does Not Accept Anies' Poor Performance In Jakarta, Accuses Industry Survey Of Seeking Profit

JAKARTA - The level of public satisfaction with DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan is only 38.9 percent. This is based on the results of a survey conducted by the Jakarta Research Center (JRC). Meanwhile, their dissatisfaction reached 53.0 percent, and the rest did not / know the answer to 8.1 percent.

On the results of a survey released on Friday, April 16, the Rector of the University of Ibnu Chaldun Husni Umar disagreed. While retweeting the news entitled 'JRC Survey: 53.0 Percent of Public Dissatisfaction with Anies Baswedan,' the survey is considered to be only industries that are making a profit.

"The survey results are determined by the capital. Do you believe this survey? If I don't believe it at all," said Husni via his twitter account, @musniumar, Monday, April 19.

Husni Umar's tweet received a response from former Democrat Ferdinand Hutahaean. According to him, Husni's opinion is a form of harassment against the credibility of the survey institution.

"Do you not want survey institutes to punish @musniumar? This is a form of harassment against survey science and slander against survey institutions accused of having the results according to orders from investors," said Ferdinand.

JRC Communications Director Alfian P in his press release in Jakarta, reported by Antara, Friday, April 16 then gave Anies a red light with the results of this survey. "This is a warning to Anies if he plans to move forward again in the Pilkada of DKI Jakarta, or to go to the national political stage."

Anies' mediocre performance is considered to have no significant breakthroughs and innovations, making most of the Jakarta public feel dissatisfied. The name Anies himself is favored to be included in various surveys for the 2024 presidential election.

However, said Alfian, the high level of public dissatisfaction during Anies' leadership of DKI Jakarta could be a stumbling block for Anies if he wants to step up to the national level.
