Police Killed, 1 TNI Wounded Persecuted In Melawai, Individuals Will Be Persecuted By The Unit

JAKARTA - Polda Metro Jaya emphasized that the individuals involved in the case of mistreating one policeman to death and one TNI member who was injured will be investigated by their respective units.

"Every individual involved here will be deepened by their respective units," said Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus to reporters, Monday, April 19.

The handling of this maltreatment case is still in the stage of witness examination. But Kombes Yusri emphasized that the TNI-Polri remained solid.

"Investigators are still investigating. Witnesses are still being examined. What is important here is that the solidarity between the National Police is still solid," he said.

As previously reported, Polda Metro Jaya examined six witnesses in the persecution case where one policeman was killed and one TNI member injured.

Director of General Criminal Investigation of Polda Metro Jaya Kombes Tubagus Ade Hidayat said that the witnesses being questioned were the ones who knew about the incident.

"It's been around 5 to 6, yes. Yes, those who are considered to know what happened," said Tubagus's eyes.

This enrichment action went viral on social media. This persecution took place on Sunday, April 18th. Based on CCTV camera footage in circulation, the perpetrator is estimated to be six people.
