JAKARTA - PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) Daop 1 Jakarta noted that the number of passengers departing from the Daop 1 Jakarta area reached 190,002 people during the long holiday period of Isra Mi'raj, collective leave, and the Chinese New Year.

KAI Daop 1 Jakarta Public Relations Manager Ixfan Hendriwinto said that as of Tuesday, January 28, 2025, the number of long-distance trains (KA) operated was 411 trips or 69 trips per day.

"There are 223,873 seats available (37,146 averages per day). The number of Seating Seats is sold at 187,315 seats (31,219 on average per day)," he said in his statement, Tuesday, January 28.

Ixfan said that the occupancy rate was 84 percent, with 36,392 or 6,065 seats on average per day.

On the other hand, Ixfan added that the passenger volume level during the period from January 24 to 29, 2025, the number of passengers departing from the Daop 1 Jakarta area reached 190,002 people.

Meanwhile, there were 184,315 passengers arriving in the Daop 1 Jakarta area in the same period.

Ixfan said the peak of the homecoming flow occurred on January 25, 2025, with a passenger volume of 38,396 people. Meanwhile, the peak of backflow is estimated on January 29, 2025, with a passenger volume of around 37,088 people.

As for today, Tuesday, January 28, 2025, the volume of departures was recorded at Gambir Station as many as 6,465 passengers, Pasar Senen Station around 10,882 passengers and other stations in the Daop 1 Jakarta area as many as 6,535 passengers.
