Alcohol Party, 2 Youths Died In Mojokerto

MOJOKERTO - As many as two youths were killed and two others underwent treatment after doing rapid mixed alcohol in Sekiping Hamlet, Dawar Village, Dawarblandong District, Mojokerto Regency, East Java.

Those who died were AB (21) and FJ (21). While the other two are DD (22) and DY (25). These four young men are local residents.

They drank mixed liquor in front of the Jatirowo Elementary School building, Dawarblandong District, Mojokerto on Saturday (25/1/2025) night. The mixed liquor of the four young men, namely 70% alcohol mixed with energy drink powder.

The two victims who died have been buried. Meanwhile, DD was at RA Basuni Hospital, Gedeg, while DY (25) was at the emergency room at the Dawarblandong Health Center.

The Head of Public Relations of the Mojokerto City Police, Ipda Slamet Hariono, confirmed that there were four youths drinking mixed alcohol and two people were killed and the other two were still being treated.

"The results of the temporary investigation and the post-mortem of the two victims (FJ and AB) who died were due to alcohol poisoning," said Slamet, Monday, January 27, about the alcohol party in Mojokerto that triggered the death toll.

He added that after receiving reports from residents that two young men had died after drinking mixed alcohol, the Inafis team and the Mojokerto City Police Satreskrim came to the location and identified them.

"The chronology, last Saturday the four young men drank (extortion mixed). The next day the victim complained of chest tightness and pain in her heart and was then taken to the hospital. Arriving at the hospital, it was stated that two people had died for the other two were still being treated," he explained.

Meanwhile, one of the residents, Purnomo explained, on Saturday (25/1/2025) one of the youths went home and asked his friend's family to be picked up by the three young men who were already drunk.

"Pul asked his friend to take (the other three) because they were already drunk and some were taken to the hospital. Two died, one was still in the hospital, the other was still vomiting and was taken to the puskesmas. It seems that the drink was up to 75% alcohol content," he concluded.
