JAKARTA - Ukraine's air defenses dropped 57 out of 104 drones launched by Russia overnight. Infrastructure in some areas of Ukraine was hit by attacks.
The air force said 39 drones were "lost", referring to Ukraine's use of electronic warfare to direct Russian drones.
The military said the Dnipropximsk, Sumy, Ivano-Frankivsk and Kyiv areas were affected by the attack.
"Infrastructure facilities, apartment blocks and private houses were damaged. Initial reports of no casualties," Ukrainian authorities said.
The governors of Sumy, Ivano-Frankivsk and Dnipropxisk confirmed that drones attacked important infrastructure but did not provide further details.
