JAKARTA - Jordan reiterated his rejection of the transfer of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip as voiced by United States President Donald Trump to Arab countries for them to receive more citizens from the Palestinian territories who were victims of the Israeli genocide war backed by the Joe Biden administration.
Jordan's stance on the transfer of Palestinians from Gaza remains "firm and immovable", said Jordan Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi as quoted by ANTARA from IRNA-OANA, Monday, January 27.
The Jordanian Foreign Minister also shared a post on X, reaffirming his country's support for the Gaza ceasefire agreement.
He stressed the need for full implementation and delivery of humanitarian aid to all parts of the Gaza Strip.
"The fact that has been formed strongly is that Jordan protects the interests, principles, and citizens of his country," he said further in his upload.
On Saturday (25/1), President Trump told reporters in Air Force One, Jordan, Egypt, and other Arab countries should receive more Palestinians from the Gaza Strip to "clean up" the region.
