Welcomed By Indonesian Students In Malaysia, Prabowo: Thank You In The Morning To Pick Me Up

The arrival of Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia was warmly welcomed by the public and students from Indonesia. President Prabowo arrived at the Malaysian hotel at around 07.00 local time.

Four Indonesian children wearing traditional clothes greeted him with enthusiasm while welcoming the President in Kuala Lumpur.

With a warm smile, the President replied to their greeting. Thank you, thank you everyone. Thank you all very much. Thank you all in the morning for picking me up," Prabowo said quoting Antara.

Indonesian students and people in Malaysia showed extraordinary enthusiasm. Fadil and Ziva, two junior high and high school students, have even been at the location since 05.00 am.

"It's been here since the 5th, to meet Pak Prabowo, to welcome his presence," said Fadil.

The same thing was expressed by Ziva, who even though he was a bit far from the main crowd, he still felt happy to see President Prabowo firsthand. "I'm very happy, but we can't say hello because we stand behind you really. So just look at it, I'm grateful," he said.

Syafiq, an elementary school student who also welcomed him, said he was happy to meet President Prabowo in person.

"Want to meet Pak Prabowo, because this week is a holiday, one Malaysia is off. Hopefully Pak Prabowo will become a good president and be responsible for all its implementation," he said.

Not only students, the community also has high hopes for President Prabowo. Lina, one of the representatives of the Indonesian people who attended, expressed her joy at the President's arrival.

"We are very excited because President Prabowo has just been elected. We certainly have high hopes for the President so that education in Indonesia is better and all aspects in Indonesia can also be better," he said.

Lina also said that the President's arrival could give a new spirit to Indonesians in Malaysia. "I'm happy, he gave our greetings, teachers, students, exciting, very happy," he added.

In addition to students and the public, it was also seen that a number of ministers had already been at the location to welcome the President's arrival.

Among them are the Minister of Basic and Secondary Education Abdul Mu'ti, Minister of Protection of Indonesian Migrant Workers/Head of BP2MI Abdul Kadir Karding, Minister of Trade Budi Santoso, and Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM Rosan Roeslani.

Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of the Presidential Secretariat Yusuf Permana previously conveyed that President Prabowo's visit to Malaysia was part of a series of work visits abroad, after previously the President visited India.

In addition to a series of state events, President Prabowo on a visit to Malaysia is scheduled to hold a limited meeting with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim.

The President's visit to Malaysia not only strengthens diplomatic relations between the two countries, but is also a moment that raises the spirit of nationalism of the Indonesian people in overseas areas.
