The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has arrested one of two suspects who are fugitives in the alleged corruption case of sugar imports at the Ministry of Trade (Kemendag) for the 2015-2019 period.
The Head of the Attorney General's Office, Harli Siregar, confirmed the arrest. However, it was not detailed about the location of his arrest.

One fugitive who was arrested had the initials HAT. The suspect is the Director of PT Duta Sugar International (DSI).

The Attorney General's Office through the Director of Investigation of the Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), Abdul Qohar stated that of the nine suspects, two of them were fugitives. His whereabouts are still being sought by investigators.
The two suspects are HAT as director of PT DSI and ASB who is the President Director of PT KTM.
"Currently, a search is being carried out by the investigative team to find out where they are," said Qohar.
