JAKARTA - Minister of ATR/BPN Nusron Wahid denied the existence of a certificate on behalf of PT Kapuk Naga Indah as the owner of a 30.16 kilometer sea fence in Tangerang waters.

PT Kapuk Naga Indah is a subsidiary of Agung Sedayu Group who is also the parent company of PT Pantai Indah Kapuk Dua Tbk.

"Regarding the news that appears in the media, it seems as if the certificate or what appears is above sea, on behalf of PT Kapuk Naga Indah, that's not true," said Nusron Wahid at a press conference at the Ministry of ATR/BPN, Monday, January 20.

Nusron explained that the reclamation permit for PT Kapuk Naga Indah has been recognized by the government in the North Jakarta area.

"If this one is in accordance with the procedure, because this is a certificate, which is in Kamal Muara, published in 2017, this is a certificate in the form of SHGB, on behalf of PT Kapuk Niaga Indah. This one is published on HPL, and it is a land resulting from reclamation. Because the land is reclamation, the HPL is in the name of the DKI Regional Government, the SHGB is on their behalf, which does reclamation," he explained.

Nusron said PT Kapuk Indah Naga was in accordance with procedures for the construction of several islands on Pantai Indah Kapuk. However, he said, the sea fence in Tangerang does not belong to the subsidiary of PT Agung Sedayu Group.

"So if this (according to) procedures, we will convey it as it is. But for the previous one, the first point, we have explained in full and in detail," he said.

"Later we will take action and we will check in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations," concluded Nusron Wahid.
