NTB - The Provincial National Narcotics Agency (BNNP) of West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) conducted a sudden urine test on the Acting Governor of NTB Hassanudin along with the leaders of the DPRD and the head of regional apparatus organizations in NTB Province.
This urine test was held after a plenary session at the local DPRD Building, Monday, January 20.
"I ask all DPRD members and OPD leaders not to leave after the plenary session," ordered the chairman of the NTB Provincial DPRD Baiq Isvie Rupaeda to all participants of the plenary session to conduct a urine test by BNNP, confiscated by Antara.
Isvie emphasized that this urine test was carried out to set an example for the community. "So, this is a positive thing and can be an example for others (the community)," said Isvie.
Acting Governor of NTB Hassanudin said this urine test was a special thing because all participants at the plenary meeting, including himself, underwent urine tests in the context of preventing and eradicating drug abuse and trafficking.
"We know from the explanation of the head of BNN, drug trafficking in our area is quite high and this is our concentration to say no to drugs, because drugs are a threat to generation," he said.
Therefore, he strongly supports urine tests carried out by targeting the leadership and members of the DPRD as well as the head of the OPD within the NTB Provincial Government.
In fact, Hassanudin invited the public to jointly eradicate drugs. "This is an example to the community because these drugs are a threat to the younger generation," he said.
