6 Village Heads In North Sumatra Use Village Funds For Judol, PPATK Investigate Similar Modes In Other Regions

JAKARTA - Head of the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) Ivan Yustiavandana revealed that his institution is investigating allegations of misappropriation of village funds for online or online gambling (judol).

In addition, Ivan also confirmed that currently PPATK has found around six village heads (kades) in a district in North Sumatra (North Sumatra) have used village funds for judol.

"We suspect that other areas also have a similar mode," Ivan said when confirmed, Monday, January 20, was confiscated by Antara.

He explained that the findings were obtained by PPATK based on data from the financial industry.

Furthermore, he said the PPATK findings had been submitted by his institution to related parties.

"We have conveyed something to investigators," he said.

Previously, PPATK found six village heads in North Sumatra using village funds for judol around IDR 50-260 million.

PPATK also found that as many as Rp40 billion of village funds in the district were allegedly used for judol.
