Cakung Fly Over Opens For Trial Starting Tomorrow 19 April, Residents Don't Take Selfies

JAKARTA - The DKI Jakarta Highways Agency will hold a trial for the opening of the flyover (flyover) in Cakung, East Jakarta. The trial will be conducted for three days from Monday, April 19 to Wednesday, April 21, 2021.

"By conducting this phase 1 trial / open traffic, it is hoped that flyover user mobility can run smoothly and reduce traffic jams that have been occurring in the area," said Head of DKI Jakarta Highways Agency Hari Nugroho in his statement, Sunday, April 18. .

A little note, until now there are still final works, namely the process of tidying the land on the west side of the Cakung flyover (west side of the BKT) and other fly over improvement works. Therefore, residents are asked not to stop in that area.

"We expect road users to obey existing traffic signs, for safety and comfort in traffic. We also urge residents not to take selfies on the flyover," said Hari.

With this trial, Hari said that the traffic on the side roads of the East Outer Ring Road will be implemented in a one-way system.

More specifically, traffic on the frontage road on the west side of the East Outer Ring Road is applied in one direction, from the South (Cakung Station) to the North (the direction to the East Jakarta Mayor's Office).

Then, traffic on the frontage road on the East side of the East Outer Ring Road is applied in one direction from the North (Pulogebang Terminal) to the South (Cakung Station). As well as the East Mayor Fly Over will also be applied in one direction from West to East.
