The Tamansari Metro Police will deploy a team of forensic laboratory centers (Puslabfor) of the National Police Headquarters to reveal the exact cause of a large fire at Glodok Plaza, Tamansari District, West Jakarta.

"An identification will be carried out from the Labfor Team. But we will wait for the blackout," said the Head of the Tamansari Metro Police, AKBP Riyanto when confirmed by VOI, Thursday, January 16.

Until now, the police have not been able to suspect the cause of the fire at Glodok Plaza. "The cause is not yet known. The situation is still raging," he said.

Apart from not knowing the cause of the fire, the police have also not been able to confirm the presence of fire victims.

Previously, it was reported that a discotheque on the 7th floor located in the Glodok Plaza building, Jalan Pinangsia Raya, Mangga Besar Village, Tamansari District, West Jakarta, Wednesday, January 15, evening.

"The object caught fire on the 7th floor of Glodok Plaza discotheque," said the firefighters.

A total of 20 fire engines were deployed to the location of the fire. The number of personnel deployed 100 people. "The extinguishing operation was carried out at 21.31 WIB. The status of the fire is still red, it is still in the process of extinguishing it," he said.
