Alleged Sodomy Case In Ponpes Area, East Jakarta Police Increase Case To Sidik : One Person Arrested

The East Jakarta Metro Police have raised the investigation stage to an investigation related to an immoral act in the form of an alleged sodomy at a Ponpes in the Duren Sawit area, East Jakarta.

"The investigation is already at the stage," said East Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Nicolas Ary Lilipaly when confirmed by VOI, Thursday, January 16, 2025.

Meanwhile, the perpetrator of immoral acts, allegedly sodomy with the initials UK (50), was arrested by the East Jakarta Metro Police after the depraved incident occurred.

Confirmed separately, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the East Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Armunanto confirmed that one perpetrator of alleged immoral acts was arrested.

"Currently, we have secured one person. It is still being investigated and developed," he said.

Previously, it was reported that a number of pesantren students in the Duren Sawit area, East Jakarta, were suspected of being victims of sodomy by a boarding school caregiver with the initials UK on Wednesday, January 15, afternoon.

The incident suddenly caused an uproar among local residents. Residents also gathered to the Islamic boarding school because they were curious about the immoral incident that occurred at the boarding school.

"What I heard was that there was sexual abuse of students at this pesantren. The one who committed sexual abuse (was) the owner of this pesantren," said A, a local resident to reporters, Wednesday, January 15, 2024.

The case of alleged sodomy by a boarding school caregiver with the initials UK in the Duren Sawit area, East Jakarta, is said to have been going on for a long time, but it was only revealed.

"It's like the smell of a carcass that has been closed for a long time, gradually it will definitely smell like it. (the incident) It's been since 2021, it's been a long time," A told reporters at the location, Wednesday, January 15, 2025.
