Khofifah asked President Prabowo to give a briefing at the opening of the XVIII Muslimat NU Congress which was attended by 532 branches, 11 special branch leaders and 37 regional administrators.
President Prabowo also stated his presence and confirmed that at that time he was not on a visit abroad or in Indonesia.
"God willing, he was 'ruh' (coming) and he said earlier that 'yes, that date I was in Indonesia'," said Khofifah.
As for the meeting with President Prabowo, Khofifah came along with the NU Muslimat management, namely the Secretary of PP Muslimat NU Arifatul Fauzi, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Siti Aniroh Congress, Chairman of Steering Commitee Erna Yulia Soefihara, General Secretary of PP Muslimat NU and Benlaha Umum PP Muslimat NU Andi Nurhiyar.
Khofifah also reported on various programs and services that had been run by the NU Muslimat, as well as introducing two new programs that will be launched at the XVIII Muslimat NU Congress, namely 'Mustika Mesem' (Muslimat Cantik Reducing Extreme Poverty) and 'Mustika Darling' (Muslimat Cantik Awareness of the Environment).
President Prabowo also expressed his appreciation for the various initiatives carried out by the NU Muslimat, which were considered to have directly touched the needs of the community at the grassroots level.
"He gave extraordinary appreciation because these small things were considered by the NU Muslimat. Because the network is wide, we hope that the effectiveness of this program will be more significant," said Khofifah.
