Tangerang City Government Targets IDR 610 Billion From PBB-P2 Revenue

TANGERANG - Tangerang City Government, Banten, is targeting an increase in revenue absorption of Land and Building, Rural and Urban Tax (PBB-P2) in 2025. The target, which was planned at IDR 610 billion, increased from the previous realization which was at IDR 570 billion.

"The realization of tax revenue for PBB-P2 last year was IDR 570 billion, and this year we are targeting IDR 610 billion," said Tangerang City Bapenda Head Kiki Wibhawa, in Tangerang, quoted from ANTARA Sunday, January 5.

In addition, the increase in revenue also applies to Land and Building Rights Obtainment Customs (BPHTB) which is targeted at IDR 650 billion, an increase from the previous realization of IDR 631 billion.

The people of Tangerang City, said Kiki, have also been given an appeal to use digital payment channels that make it easier for taxpayers.

Payments can be made through the Tangerang LIVE, bjb Digi, GoPay, Blibli, Bukalapak, Livin' by Mandiri, Shopee, LinkAja, Pos Indonesia, OVO, and Tokopedia applications.

"We have prepared various payment channels to provide convenience and efforts in meeting the revenue targets," he also said.

Tangerang Mayor Nurdin added that to make it easier for the public to fulfill their tax obligations, the Tangerang City Government has made various breakthroughs such as tax relaxation to encourage the acceleration of payments and help provide relief for taxpayers.

The Tangerang City Government has also been and will continue to develop local tax payments and levies, such as adding digital payment channels that can be done anytime and anywhere.

It should be noted that the achievement of the PBB-P2 Tangerang City in 2024 was realized in the amount of Rp. 570,577,082,228, an increase of five percent or Rp. 28 billion compared to the previous year with the realization of Rp. 541,695,007,750.

Meanwhile, the realized BPHTB in 2024 will be IDR 632,198,760,010, an increase of seven percent or IDR 40 billion compared to last year's IDR 591,927,983,245.
