JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan asked his staff to comb through unfinished programs in the 2017-2022 Regional Medium-Term Program Plan (RPJMD) to be completed.

However, Gembong Warsono, the head of the PDIP faction at the DPRD, doubts that all programs will be completed until the end of Anies's tenure in DKI, who only has about 1.5 years left.

"The RPJMD can't be completed in 2022", said Gembong when contacted, Thursday, April 15.

Gembong estimates that Anies may only be able to carry out 60 percent of the programs in the RPJMD until his term ends.

"If the years 2021-2022 are boosted, God willing, it can be a maximum of 60 percent", he said.

Because currently there are still many programs at a standstill. For example, river normalization has yet to be carried out. The central government has not been able to carry out the normalization construction of the Ciliwung River because the DKI Provincial Government has never acquired land for residential areas around it.

"Regarding flooding, has Pak Anies touched it for 3 years? Hasn't it. Only the construction of vertical drainage (infiltration wells)", he said.

Another example, the Rumah DP Rp0 program (house for a down payment of IDR0) has a minimal realization. Based on data as of March 5, the Rumah DP Rp0 in Pondok Kelapa has just sold 599 units of the 780 housing units provided. From the lack of realization, Anies is proposing a change in the target occupancy from 232,214 units to 10,460 units.

Then, the OK OCE program is currently not running after former DKI Deputy Governor Sandiaga Uno resigned from his position. "The target is 200 thousand new entrepreneurs from the OK OCE program. But, because OK OCE spirit is in Sandi, it is now gone", he said.

Previously, Anies asked the ranks of the DKI Regional Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) to ensure that the 2017-2022 RPJMD was carried out. This was conveyed in the plenary session of the 2021 Development Planning Deliberation which was held virtually.

"I ask the ranks of Bappeda to carry out a sweeping over all the programs in the RPJMD, which are in the KSD (regional strategic activities), and ensure that by 2022 everything can be completed completely", said Anies.

In this Musrenbang, Anies asked for an incomplete sweep of programs by asking for input from relevant stakeholders, both direct actors, and regulators from various agencies.

"That way, the RPJMD that was passed down in the KSD (Regional Cooperation Bureau) which was then passed down to the government work plan, God willing, could actually be carried out and we could achieve what we expected, namely Jakarta is a developed city, its citizens are happy", said Anies.
