Drunk, Men In Denpasar Torture Their Lover's Eyes

DENPASAR - Allegedly due to a misunderstanding, a man with the initials IKS (39) had the heart to persecute his girlfriend, NKP (29) in Denpasar, Bali. The victim suffered bruises on his body.

"Yes, because the perpetrator was drunk doing it (persecution). But we have made peace and made a statement," said Head of East Denpasar Police Commissioner Tri Joko Widiyanto when contacted Thursday, April 15.

This incident occurred on Tuesday, April 13 at noon. At that time the victim called her boyfriend IKS to return to the boarding house in East Denpasar, Bali. IKS asked his girlfriend to wait because he was still making penjor.

Upon arriving at the boarding house, the victim asked for help to be delivered to the market. IKS was said to have spoken in a high tone so that the victim did not ask to be escorted to the market.

An argument broke out until the perpetrator pushed and caught the victim's eye. The woman was tortured to the point of bruising her body. Meanwhile, the perpetrator is called the police drunk with wine.

"For fear of the victim entering the room and reporting the incident (via cellphone)," he added.

The victim reported the abuse to the police. The perpetrator was taken to the East Denpasar Police.

When questioned, the two admitted that they were still dating, where the victim was a mother of two. At the police station, the two made peace and did not make a statement and the victim did not report it.

"Yes, it's been peaceful and made a statement letter. They have been dating for a long time," said Kompol Widyanto.
