Meanwhile, Dirlantas Polda Jabar Kombes Pol Ruminio Ardano said the police had also engineered traffic in case of traffic jams on the Puncak route.
"We have prepared an alternative route, Baim will pass the Litangir toll road to a new toll road that can penetrate Cibitung and exit to Jonggol, either towards Cianjur," he said.
Ruminio said that his party had prepared other alternative roads that could only be used for two-wheeled vehicles and minibuses to anticipate congestion during the year-end holidays.
