SOLO - Mayor of Solo Gibran Rakabuming claimed to have given a reprimand to the driver of Batik Solo Trans (BST) who was caught on the road. In addition to the reprimand, the Local Government of Solo will also evaluate so that similar incidents are not repeated.

"We've been reprimanded, we've apologized. There has been a written statement also later we will evaluate as well", Gibran Rakabuming told the media crew, Wednesday, April 14.

The bus driver's stunt went viral on social media and in an Instagram account post @visitsurakarta on Monday, April 12. In the upload, the driver is seen speeding and preceding a car and several motor vehicles on Yosodipuro road, Solo.

Because of this action, the vehicle from the opposite direction is forced to pull vehicle up to the body of the road. Through @gibran_rakabuming's Instagram account, Selvi Ananda's husband immediately responded. "I'm sorry. We will act decisively", Gibran said in a comment column.

Gibran also invited the citizens of Solo to actively provide reports. The not only car business, damaged roads, clogged drainage can also be reported.

"We have a special team that handles that and must be directly handled by the relevant service. Please tell us to improve the city of Solo. I thank you very much if more and more, the more often. If you need to send pictures", explained Gibran.

According to Gibran, the development in Solo city is inseparable from the activeness of residents to provide inputs and reports, what are the obstacles in the surrounding environment.

In particular, Gibran apologized to residents, road users who were 'victims' of the driver's actions.

"Once again I apologize to the people who feel harmed for this inconvenience," Gibran said.

Director of PT Bengawan Solo Trans, Sri Sadad Mojo has responded to this issue. He said it would issue a reprimand to BST drivers.

"We sanctioned him, but if it happened again three times, he was terminated as our employee", he said.
