Abdul Rosyid Officially Inaugurated To Replace Atang Trisnanto As A Member Of The Bogor City DPRD

The chairman of the Bogor City DPRD, Adityawarman Adil, inaugurated the Eid al-Rosyid to replace Atang Trisnanto, who resigned to participate in the Bogor City Pilkada contestation.

BOGOR (Regional People's Representative Council) Bogor City officially inaugurated Abdul Rosyid from the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) as an Interim Substitute (PAW) for members of the Bogor City DPRD for the period 2024-2029.

Abdul Rosyid replaces Atang Trisnanto, who resigned to participate in the Bogor City Pilkada contestation. The inauguration and taking of the oath of office was held in a plenary meeting on Friday, December 6, 2024.

The inauguration was led directly by the Chairman of the Bogor City DPRD, Adityawarman Adil, and witnessed by the Acting Mayor of Bogor, Hery Antasari, as well as the ranks of Forkopimda and all members of the Bogor City DPRD.

Before taking the oath, the Secretary of the Bogor City DPRD, Boris Drurasman, read out the West Java Governor's decision on the inauguration of the PAW for members of the Bogor City DPRD. After that, Abdul Rosyid took an oath of office that went smoothly and solemnly.

As the official symbol of Abdul Rosyid being a member of the DPRD, the Chairman of the DPRD Adityawarman pinned the Bogor City DPRD pin to Abdul Rosyid.

Based on the Bogor City DPRD's decision regarding changes to the Council Equipment (AKD), Abdul Rosyid will serve in Commission III, which handles the environmental and development sectors. In addition, he will also fill the position as a member of the Bogor City DPRD Budget Agency (Banggar).

Adityawarman revealed that the delay in the implementation of PAW was due to bureaucratic obstacles. Atang Trisnanto has actually submitted his resignation since August 29, 2024 as a condition for running for the Bogor City Pilkada.

"We experienced a bit of bureaucratic problems which caused the PAW process to only be carried out today, even though Pak Atang's resignation letter was submitted a few months ago," said Adityawarman.

Abdul Rosyid's appointment as PAW was based on the results of the 2024 General Election. Based on the vote count from the Bogor City KPU, Abdul Rosyid took third place in the vote acquisition at the North Bogor electoral district, after Atang Trisnanto.

Adityawarman hopes that Abdul Rosyid can carry out his duties optimally, especially in representing the aspirations of the people of North Bogor.

"We hope that Pak Abdul can carry out his duties well in Commission III and as a member of Banggar. He is also expected to be able to fight for the interests of the people of North Bogor to the fullest," said Adityawarman.

After the inauguration, Atang Trisnanto, who previously served as Chairman of the Bogor City DPRD for the 2019-2024 period, expressed his high hopes for Abdul Rosyid.

"Hopefully he will be made easier in carrying out this mandate, be able to quickly adapt to the duties and functions of the DPRD, and diligently go to the community to absorb aspirations," said Atang.

Atang also hopes that Abdul Rosyid can continue the previous advocacy and community development program in North Bogor.

"My hope is that Pak Abdul can continue to advocate for community development and service programs, especially in the North Bogor area. Hopefully he can carry out this task with a mandate," concluded Atang.

In the plenary meeting, the Bogor City DPRD also gave appreciation and memories to Atang Trisnanto, Jenal Mutaqin (Vice Chairman I of the DPRD for the 2019-2024 period), and Syarifah Sofiah (Sekda of Bogor City for the 2020-2024 period) for their dedication and contribution during their tenure.

With the inauguration of Abdul Rosyid, the Bogor City DPRD now has a complete formation to continue the legislative duties and supervision of development in Bogor City.
