Son Molests Father To Death In Singkawang, Neighbors Give Shocking Testimony About Motive

JAKARTA - Singkawang Police Criminal Reserse Unit is still investigating the case of persecution leading to the death of a father named Adi Sukarman. Ironically, the perpetrator in this case is the victim's own biological child with the initials RB.

RB has now been detained. By investigators, the perpetrator is being asked for information on the cause of musabab, up to the motive of the incident.

"It happened in Jalan RA Kartini, Sekip Lama Village, Central Singkawang District, Tuesday, April 13, yesterday afternoon," said Kasat Reskrim Singkawang Police, AKP Tri Prasetiyo reported by Antara, Wednesday, April 14.

According to the visum of Abdul Aziz Singkawang Hospital, the victim died from head injuries.

Residents around the scene were shocked by the case. Tri Muhariyadi, one of the neighbors of the victim claimed, he was asked for help by a resident named Neli.

"My citizens came before the adhan of Dhuhur and said there was a resident of RT 17 asking for help," he said.

Because he was busy, Tri Muhariyadi suggested to Neli to contact the local RT directly. "After being contacted, as soon as they got to the location, residents saw the victim had been face down on the ground," he said.

According to him, the victim with the perpetrator is a father and son who live in one house. "Both of them are often noisy just because their children often ask for money to the victim. Maybe that's the motive, or there's something unspoken, so his own father became a victim," he said.
