Bogor Regency Government Orders Street Vendors On The Peak Line And Prepares Nataru 2024

BOGOR Acting (Pj.) Bogor Regent Bachril Bakri ensured that the control of Street Vendors (PKL) in Warpat and along the Puncak route had been running smoothly. This arrangement is also part of the preparations ahead of Christmas and New Year (Nataru) 2024 in the Puncak area, Bogor Regency.

According to Bachril Bakri, the results of this arrangement are quite satisfying. Street vendors who previously sold in the Warpat area and its surroundings have now been moved to the rest area provided.

"Alhamdulillah, this arrangement makes the Puncak area more neat and comfortable to see, especially the scenery around the area. Even though there are some traders who sell on motorbikes, I have instructed the Satpol PP to continue to carry out surveillance," Bachril said, Sunday, December 8.

Acting Regent together with local government officials, such as Satpol PP, Dispora, Transportation Agency, Disbudpar, and Sayuga Wisata, directly inspected the results of the arrangement in the Warpat to Astro areas.

In an effort to increase the comfort of visitors and traders' income, the Bogor Regency Government plans to develop a rest area parking area of up to 4.3 hectares. This step aims to accommodate more vehicles, including cars and tourist buses.

We also plan to add entertainment facilities and attractive activities to tourists. Please be patient, all parties because we are trying to make this rest area better and more comfortable," Bachril explained.

Nataru's preparation is one of the main focuses of this activity. The Bogor Regency Government will establish a Nataru post on the Puncak route to monitor traffic conditions and repair alternative roads to reduce congestion.

"We are watching road conditions, especially alternative routes. Improvement of infrastructure will be carried out so that the route remains smooth during the Christmas and New Year holidays," added Bachril.

This review was also attended by the Head of Disbudpar, Head of Dispora, Head of Traffic of the Bogor Regency Transportation Agency, Director of Sayuga Wisata, and Head of Cisarua Sub-district. All parties are committed to supporting the policy of structuring the Puncak area to make it more comfortable for tourists and the local community.
