Microtrans Falls To Interrupt Railroads In North Jakarta Driver Examined By Police

JAKARTA - Microtrans services fell into a water channel next to the train crossing around WTC Mangga Dua, North Jakarta this afternoon. The incident had disrupted the KRL Commuter Line service.

The train service that was disrupted due to the crossing was blocked by the Jak Lingko service, namely the Bekasi-Kampung Bandan route.

"The Mikrotrans number LSG 629 belongs to the operator Lestari Surya Gema Persada," said Head of the Public Relations Department and CSR Transjakarta Ayu Wardhani to reporters, Monday, December 2.

In that incident, the Microtrans had a single accident. No casualties were affected by the incident.

Ayu said that the stuck microtrans had been evacuated some time later. After being evacuated, the Commuter Line service also returned to normal operations. The microtrans driver is being investigated by the police.

"This afternoon the unit was immediately evacuated. Meanwhile, the driver also underwent an examination process by the police," said Ayu.
