JAKARTA - Dozens of tensor kiosks located on the side of Jalan Salemba Raya, Paseban Village, Senen District, Central Jakarta, only ashes and charcoal remained after being hit by a fire on Monday, December 2, morning.

"There are approximately 50 buildings. The kiosk is where the thesis is written, the rental is stuck," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of Senen Police, AKP Asep Dadang when confirmed by VOI, Monday, December 2.

Other information obtained at that location contained unscrupulous providers of fake diplomas. But now, the area has been razed to the ground due to the fire.

According to AKP Asep, the cause of the fire was an electrical short in one of the buildings behind the thesis rental stalls.

After the fire broke out, the Senen Police Criminal Investigation Unit installed a police line at the location of the fire. Installation of the police line to facilitate the police investigation process.

"We have a police line location (police line). For witnesses there are those who are examined, there are three people being examined for a while," he said.

Previously, it was reported that the former land eviction building on Jalan Salemba Raya, RW 06, Paseban Village, Senen District, Central Jakarta, was burned down on Monday, December 2, morning.

As a result of the fire, one resident died in the fire incident. The fire was first reported at around 05.40 WIB.

"There was one victim who died, a 52-year-old man," said Head of Central Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Asril Rizal to VOI, Monday, December 2, morning.
