Today, President Prabowo Reviews Fishery Potential In Karawang

KARAWANG - President Prabowo Subianto, paid a working visit to Karawang Regency, West Java, on Monday, December 2. During the visit, Prabowo visited a tilapia fish pond in Pusaka Jaya Selatan Village, Cilebar District, as well as greeted local residents who enthusiastically welcomed his presence.

Prabowo arrived at the location at around 09.00 WIB. His presence was immediately warmly welcomed by the people who had been waiting since morning. In the pond area, he uses a special vehicle to tour and review the potential for fisheries in Karawang.

During his visit, Prabowo emphasized the importance of the fisheries sector in realizing national food independence.

"The fisheries sector has a strategic role to play in supporting food security and community welfare, especially farmers and fishermen," he said.

After reviewing the pond, Prabowo took the time to meet directly with the residents. He shook hands and motivated the community to continue working hard for the sake of mutual progress.

Mira, a resident of Karawang, admitted that she really wanted to meet President Prabowo. He was even willing to wait since 05.00 WIB.

"I am very happy to be able to see the president of my choice," said Mira with great enthusiasm.

This visit is part of Prabowo's work agenda to support the welfare of farmers and fishermen. He also appreciated the spirit of the people of Karawang who continue to strive to increase fishery production, as a concrete step in supporting the local and national economy.

During his visit to Karawang, President Prabowo Subianto hoped that steps such as developing fish ponds could continue to be encouraged in various regions, so that Indonesia could achieve strong food independence while strengthening relations between the government and the community.
