A Number Of Big Cities In Indonesia Are Forecasted To Rain This Saturday

JAKARTA - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) said that a number of major cities in Indonesia were raining this Saturday.

BMKG forecaster Sekar Anggraeni through a weather forecast broadcast in Jakarta, said thick cloudy weather occurred in Banda Aceh and Pekanbaru, fleeing air in Padang and Palembang, light rain in Pangkal Pinang and Lampung, as well as moderate-intensity rain in Medan.

"Be aware of the rain accompanied by lightning in Tanjung Pinang, Jambi, and Bengkulu," he said, quoted from ANTARA, Saturday, November 30.

On the island of Java, Sekar continued, thick cloudy weather is predicted in Serang and Jakarta, light rain in Semarang, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya, as well as moderate-intensity rain in Bandung.

Furthermore, he appealed to the people on the island of Kalimantan, because in almost all areas such as Tanjung Selor, Samarinda, Banjarmasin, and Palangkaraya it is predicted that it will rain accompanied by lightning. Meanwhile, in Pontianak it is predicted to be foggy.

"In the areas of Bali and Nusa Tenggara, Denpasar is forecast for light rain, and be aware of the potential for rain accompanied by lightning in Mataram and Kupang," he said.

On the island of Sulawesi, said Sekar, light rain weather is predicted to fall in Gorontalo, Palu, and Makassar, rain with moderate intensity in Kendari, heavy rain in Mamuju, and rain accompanied by lightning in Manado.

Finally, in Eastern Indonesia, Jayapura is forecasted to run away, Manokwari and Ternate are forecasted to experience light rain, sorong, Nabire, and Jayawijaya are forecasted to rain with moderate intensity, and Ambon and Merauke are predicted to experience rain accompanied by lightning.
