Fast Calculation: Aep-Maslani Wins In Karawang Pilkada

KARAWANG - The pair of candidates for regent and deputy regent of Karawang Aep Syaepuloh-Maslani won 54.67 percent based on the results of quick calculations from the Indicator Survey Institute until 18.11 WIB.

"Thank you to the people of Karawang, especially coalition parties, volunteers and supporters, we both watched the results of the quick count from the Indicators, thank God 54.67 percent," said Aep, Karawang, Wednesday.

Based on the results of the quick count of Indicators until 18.11 WIB, the number of votes for the candidate pair for regent and deputy regent of Aep-Maslani reached 54.67 percent, while the Jamhuri-Gina Swara Acep pair reached 45.33 percent.

This achievement is in accordance with the number of incoming data of 97.50 percent with a'margin of error' of 1.94 percent.

Aep said that the victory was not a victory for the Aep-Maslani pair. But it became a victory for the people of Karawang who had given this mandate.

"So of course this is not an Aep-Maslani victory, but this is a victory for the people of Karawang. Because, this is a mandate given to me by Pak Haji Maslani," he said.

For this achievement, Aep expressed his gratitude to the coalition party volunteers, the party's wings who have fought.

He also thanked the people of Karawang who have supported him to return to serving as Regent of Karawang.

"Hopefully we can carry out this mandate well. Especially for the sake of Karawang's progress, be it infrastructure development, health, education and others," he said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Aep-Maslani Winning Team, Dian Fahrud Jaman, said that this victory was the beginning until an official announcement from the Karawang KPU was made.

"This victory is the beginning so that we can escort from polling stations to sub-districts, so that we maintain the recapitulation process from polling stations to sub-districts. So that we control the recapitulation process together and up to the Karawang level, until the KPU officially announces it," he said.
