Happy After Voting, Pramono Asks RK and Dharma Pongrekun to Accept Whatever the Results of the Jakarta Regional Election

JAKARTA - Jakarta gubernatorial candidate number 3 Pramono Anung has finished exercising his right to vote at polling station (TPS) TPS 046, Cipete Selatan Village, Cilandak District, South Jakarta.

With a cheerful expression, Pramono showed off his finger that had been dipped in purple ink with his wife, Endang Nugrahani and daughter, Hanifa Fadhila.

Pramono advised his two rival candidate pairs, Ridwan Kamil-Suswono and Dharma Pongrekun-Kun Wardana to accept whatever the vote results are in the Jakarta gubernatorial election.

"My message is simple. Whatever the results are, we will accept them together. There is no need for anything excessive, because I see that Jakarta is going very well," said Pramono, Wednesday, November 27.

After the election competition period, Pramono gave his appreciation to RK-Suswono and Dharma-Kun who both participated in the contest without any polemics that led to polarization.

"This is the first time that the Jakarta gubernatorial election has been held directly and the tension is not too high, it has been going on happily. This is a good thing, let's maintain it together," said Pramono.

After returning from the polling station, Pramono returned to his residence. The former Cabinet Secretary admitted that he would make a video call with his son's grandson, Hanindhito Himawan, who is also a candidate for the incumbent Kediri Regent.

"For almost three months now, it has been very rare to be able to video call with my grandson, because I am very close to my grandson," said Pramono.

Pramono also hopes that he and his deputy candidate Rano Karno can win the Jakarta gubernatorial election in just one round with more than 50 percent of the vote.

"Personally, of course I hope for one round. Why? So that Jakarta residents can return to normal life. Because the regional elections in other places have all finished. So that Jakarta will no longer have tension," he explained.

The DKI KPU has determined the permanent voter list (DPT) for the 2024 Pilkada as many as 8,214,007 voters. Of this number, the largest DPT is in East Jakarta with 2,374,828, followed by West Jakarta with 1,909,774, then South Jakarta (1,748,961), North Jakarta (1,345,815), Central Jakarta (813,721) and the Seribu Islands with 20,908 people.
