Muhaimin Believes Jokowi's Support Affects Ridwan Kamil And Ahmad Luthfi's Voices

JAKARTA - PKB Chairman Muhaimin Iskandar believes that the support of the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo for the candidates for governor-deputy governors of Jakarta and Central Java, namely Ridwan Kamil-Suswono and Ahmad Luthfi-Taj Yasin, affects the vote of the two.

"We'll see. But of course there is an effect," said the man who is familiarly called Cak Iminitu at the Presidential Palace complex, Jakarta, as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, November 26.

Cak Imin assessed that Jokowi's presence as one of the influential figures in national politics would have a positive impact on the votes acquired by the two pairs of candidates in the 2024 Simultaneous Pilkada.

"Yes, go up (the two votes)," said Cak Imin.

Cak Imin also emphasized that PKB continues to move to support the Ridwan Kamil-Suswono pair in the Jakarta Pilkada. "Move, move," he said.

Jokowi expressed his support for a number of candidate pairs (Paslon) in the 2024 Pilkada, including the Ridwan Kamil (RK)-Suswono pair and for the Central Java Pilkada Ahmad Luthfi-Taj Yasin Maimoen.

The Ridwan Kamil-Suswono pair is supported by 15 political parties, namely Gerindra, PKS, Golkar, Democrats, NasDem, PSI, PKB, Gelora, PBB, Perindo, PAN, PPP, Prima, PKN, and Garuda.

Meanwhile, the pair Ahmad Luthfi-Taj Yasin Maimoen was jointly promoted by the Gerindra Party, PKB, Golkar Party, PPP, NasDem Party, PKS, PAN, Democratic Party, and PSI.

The Indonesian KPU scheduled the 2024 Pilkada vote to take place simultaneously on November 27 in 545 regions, consisting of 37 provinces, 93 cities, and 415 districts.
