Pedestrian Woman Dies Horribly After Being Hit By A Motorbike From Bekasi

JAKARTA - A pedestrian woman named Iis Ramiana (37) was found dead tragically on Jalan Daan Mogot towards the West, to be precise near the Ibis hotel, Grogol Petamburan District, West Jakarta, Monday, November 25.

The victim, a resident of Kalideres, West Jakarta, died after being hit by a speeding motorcyclist. The woman from Pandeglang, Banten suffered severe head injuries.

"The victim's head was bruised, died at the scene. The victim's body was evacuated to the Tangerang Regency Hospital," Head of Laka Traffic Unit of the West Jakarta Metro Police, AKP Joko Siswanto when confirmed by VOI.

Meanwhile, the motorcyclist named Fajar Muhammad who hit the victim suffered facial injuries. The perpetrator rode a Yamaha motorcycle with number B 5047 EJO.

"The motorcyclist is being treated at the Cengkareng Hospital, West Jakarta," he said.

Pelaku tercatat sebagai warga Kebun Bambu, Kelurahan Kebalen, Kecamatan Babelan, Kota Bekasi.AKP Joko menjelaskan, kecelakaan death itu dimulai ketika pelaku pengendara motor melaju di Jalan Daan Mogot arah Timur ke Barat. Ketika sampai di dekat hotel Ibis, motor yang dikendarai pelaku kehilangan kekendalihan dan menabrak korban.

"The victim was a pedestrian, he walked from north to south. The cause of the accident is still under investigation," he said.

Furthermore, the motorbike, STNK and driver's license belonging to the perpetrator were confiscated as evidence of a traffic accident. The evidence was secured to the West Jakarta Metro Police Traffic Unit office.
