JAKARTA - Trans Jakarta (TJ) public transportation services have become an inspiration for the Bekasi Regency Government to do the same. The Bekasi Regency Government has scheduled to launch a public transportation service for the Buy The Service (BTS) Bus Trans Wibawamukti program on December 2, 2024.

Head of the Bekasi Regency Transportation Agency, Yana Suyatna, said that for the smooth launch of the Trans Wibawamukti Bus, her party had formed several teams. Both the security team and the preparation team for the launch.

"For the route, according to the study, there are 7 corridors. But what will be launched temporarily is corridor one, from the East Java LRT to Cikarang Station," said Yana, after the socialization with the Traffic and Road Transportation Forum, at the President Executive Club Jababeka Cikarang, Thursday, November 21.

Furthermore, Yana said that in one or two months after the launch, her party would evaluate the addition or change of lane from the Trans Wibawamukti Bus BTS.

"Other preparations, we have also carried out internal socialization, through the Traffic Forum, agencies in Bekasi Regency, and public transportation entrepreneurs who have existing routes side by side with corridor one", he explained.

Yana said, in principle, these public transportation entrepreneurs support the Buy The Service (BTS) Trans Wibawamukti Bus program.

"But of course we also have to pay attention to them, including rerouting to increase angkot passengers by extending the route, such as entering the housing," he said.
