Pramono Hopes Bawaslu Firmly Responds To RT-RW Management In Cilincing Support RK-Suswono

JAKARTA - Candidate for Governor of Jakarta number 3 Pramono Anung asked the Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) to firmly process alleged violations and irregularities of regional apparatus in the 2024 Pilkada.

This refers to the findings of Bawaslu related to the management of RT, RW, and urban village deliberation (LMK) in Sukapura Village, Cilincing District, North Jakarta, which expressed support for the cagub-cawagub couple Ridwan Kamil-Suswono.

"I encourage Bawaslu to take a stand. Anyway, if you want to cheat in Jakarta, it is the people who will act," said Pramono in Cempaka Putih, North Jakarta, Friday, November 22.

Pramono hopes that the case will not happen again in other areas. He then mentioned the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK) number 136/PUU-XXII/2024 which changed the phrase pepper article 188 of Law Number 1 of 2018.

The ruling reads "every state official, regional official, ASN official, TNI-Polri member, and village head or other designation/lurah who deliberately violates the provisions as referred to in Article 71, shall be sentenced to a minimum imprisonment of 1 month or a maximum of 6 months and/or a fine of at least Rp600 thousand or a maximum of Rp6 million".

"Because the Constitutional Court has decided, I really hope that law enforcement officers, whoever it is, including RT RW, such as the incident in Cilincing, will not be repeated," explained Pramono.

It is known that the alleged violation was revealed in a statement of support to RK-Suswono written by Baris Volunteers (Together Ridwan Kamil and Suswono).

In the letter, they stated that they were ready to support and win the pair promoted by KIM Plus in the Jakarta Pilkada with a determination of one round.

The letter was also signed by the heads of RT 001, RT 002, RT 004, RT 005, RT 007, RW 010, and members of LMK RW 010 accompanied by a final stamp of RT and RW administrators each.

The Coordinator of the DKI Bawaslu Violation Handling Division, Benny Sabdo, said that his party had clarified the person concerned. Benny said that his party would ask the Mayor of North Jakarta to impose sanctions on the RT, RW, and LMK devices.

"North Jakarta Bawaslu is preparing recommendations to the Mayor of North Jakarta, so that sanctions are given in accordance with statutory regulations," said Benny.
