The Late Thousand Islands Regent In The Eyes Of The Acting Governor Of DKI: Senior Bureaucrats Of Hard Workers

JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Teguh Setyabudi expressed his deep impression on the late Thousand Islands Regent Junaedi who died on Wednesday, November 13.

Although he has not served as Acting Governor for a long time, Teguh knows that Junaedi is a hard-working ASN official.

"The late Mr. Junaedi is a senior bureaucrat who is known as a hard worker. He has served the people of Jakarta for years, even before becoming the Regent of the Thousand Islands," said Teguh in his Instagram account, @teguhsetyabudi.official, Thursday, November 14.

Teguh said that he had made takziyah to Junaedi's residence to express his condolences and last respects last night.

"Let's pray together that Mr. Junaedi will have the best place in the sight of Allah SWT, and the families left behind will have strength and fortitude," he said.

Thousand Islands Regent Junaedi passed away on Wednesday, November 13 at around 18.30 WIB. Junaedi breathed his last in his office. Junaedi is buried at The Wiladatika Residence, Kelapa Dua Wetan, Ciracas District, East Jakarta City.

During his lifetime, Junaedi served as Deputy Regent of the Thousand Islands Administrative District in 2018-2020, Deputy Mayor of North Jakarta Administrative City for the 2017-2018 period, Assistant Deputy for Environment for DKI Jakarta Province in 2016-2017, and Secretary of North Jakarta Administrative City in 2015-2016.

Secretary of Commission A of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Mujiyono, remembers the figure of Junaedi as a genuine ASN official. Mujiyono said Junaedi's health condition had indeed declined in the last few days. In a working meeting of the DKI Provincial Government with the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Junaedi often permits to be represented because of illness.

"He's a good person, he's worked hard and in the last 3 months, meetings are often absent because his health condition has decreased. He often asks for permission when the last 2-3 months meeting is represented by the Deputy (Regent)," said Mujiyono.
