BOGOR - Head of Bogor Regency Satpol PP Cecep Imam Nagarasid emphasized that the control of the Puncak route was carried out again on Monday 11 November because a number of business establishment managers that had been previously issued have now stubborn and reopened their businesses.

The existence of this violating business not only interferes with the smooth running of the Puncak route, but is also complained by traders who have been moved to the location of the Gunung Mas Rest Area.

Cecep revealed that the control this time targeted around 19 kiosks in the Warpat area and one Puncak Asri restaurant building. This control was carried out because the owner of the building which was issued at the end of August re-opened a business without a permit.

"This is a refinement of the control we did before, because they are stubborn," said Cecep

In addition, the control is also intended to provide justice for street vendors (PKL) who have moved to shelter locations in the Puncak Rest Area. These street vendors previously traded on the edge of the Puncak route and have now switched to the area.

"The street vendors who are now in the rest area point all of them here, to Warpat, why is that allowed?" he added.

After going through a long process, finally the control was carried out based on the applicable rules.

"Today we are taking action that is in accordance with existing regulations," concluded Cecep.

As is known, the Bogor Regency Satpol PP together with the TNI/Polri again carried out control of a number of buildings on the Puncak route, which had been marked by chaos. The owner of the Puncak Asri restaurant tried to refuse control on the grounds that the dispute was ongoing at the Bandung Administrative Court.

The control of the Puncak route includes the Warpat, Puncak Asri, and Buah Block areas. However, in the Buah Block area, traders choose to dismantle their stalls themselves.

"Each party is expected to coordinate with the government to cooperate with operations (KSO), but it turns out that there is no coordination, they even seem to ignore the existence of the government," explained Cecep.

Meanwhile, one of the traders in the Warpat area, Ayu Wandari (24), revealed that they were forced to sell at the location because they did not have another place. In a day, Ayu can make a profit of between Rp. 200,000 to Rp. 300,000. This profit can even increase on weekend holidays or long holidays.

"Yes, depending on the place, the different places of income, but if I average I get IDR 300,000 a day," said Ayu.

He also added that he and his parents had been selling at the location for decades. However, officers had never previously controlled the Puncak route.
