Gus Yusuf Calls Jokowi Will Be Present In Tegal Support Luthfi-Yasin

JAKARTA - Former President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) will go to the regions to support the candidate pair (paslon) for Governor and Deputy Governor of Central Java Ahmad Luthfi-Taj Yasin Maimoen.

The information regarding the direct support from the 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia was conveyed by the Chairman of the Central Java National Awakening Party (PKB) DPW, KH Yusuf Chudlori.

"On November 16, Pak Jokowi, God willing, there will be chaos (present) in Tegal," said Yusuf Chudlori while giving directions at the Roadshow of the Chairman of the Central Java PKB DPW Gus Yusuf "Kyai Sesarengan Milih Luthfi-Yasin" at the Korpri Slawi Building, Tegal Regency, Monday 11 November 2024.

Present at the event were Cagub Ahmad Luthfi, Cabup and Cawabup Tegal Ischak-Kholid as well as thousands of PKB, Kyai and Tegal Muslims.

Yusuf Chudlori, who is familiarly called Gus Yusuf, continued that the presence of former President Jokowi was a strong encouragement for cadres in the field. So that it will have a positive impact on regional winning.

"Mr. Jokowi is surrounded," said the caretaker of the API Tegalrejo Magelang Islamic Boarding School.

In his direction on PKB cadres, Gus Yusuf also asked the witnesses appointed at the polling stations (voting stations) to be qualified.

"They must be competent, disciplined, determined and brave." Gus Yusuf stressed.

He reminded that only one missing voice at the TPS could affect the overall final vote in Central Java.

In front of thousands of PKB cadres, Cagub Ahmad Luthfi said that one of his programs was to advance pesantren. He is not willing if madrasah diniyah teachers only get an incentive of Rp. 100,000 a month. So, he and Cawagub Taj Yasin Maimoen will focus on building education and pesantren.

"In the vision and mission, only we (Luhfi-Yasin) have abah pesantren program. Aapalagi in Central Java has 5,270 Islamic boarding schools. In the future, pesantren must be more global, including Madin teachers," he said.

On the other hand, he also asked for prayers so that they could continue to be useful for the progress of Central Java.

"We, the kyai and PKB cadres of Tegal Regency, are hereby committed to being ready to vote and win the Luthfi-Yasin pair as governors and deputy governors of Central Java for the 2024-2029 period," they said together.
