The West Java Regional Police deployed about 10 personnel to carry out handling at the scene. They consist of officers from the Korlantas Polri, PJR Polda Jabar, and personnel from the Satlantas Purwakarta.
"We have mobilized 10 personnel to help evacuate the victims and the vehicles involved," he said.
Until now, he said, the exact number of vehicles involved and accident victims is still being collected.
The police team is also still processing the crime scene (TKP) to identify the number of vehicles and the exact cause of the accident.
In addition, in order to reduce congestion that occurred around the accident site, the West Java Police carried out traffic engineering by diverting vehicles out at the Cikamining Toll Exit.
"The vehicle was directed through an arterial route in Purwakarta, then re-entered the toll road through the Sadang Toll Gate," he said.
