Woman's Body Rolled Up By Mattress, Police Secure One Male In Telagasari

TANGERANG - Police arrested a man with the initials H, the alleged perpetrator of the murder of a woman in Kasur in Talagasari Village, Cikupa, Tangerang Regency.

"It was secured this morning," said Cikupa Police Chief AKP Johan Armando when confirmed, Monday, November 11.

Johan said the perpetrator was arrested in Talagasari Village, Cikupa, Tangerang Regency. This arrest was revealed after the victim's body was found in the morning, November 11, 2024.

"In Telagasari Village. The age of the perpetrator is around 27 years old," he said.

Currently, the perpetrators have been taken to the Tangerang Police Station for further investigation.

Meanwhile, the police forensic team of doctors is still examining the victim's body.

"We are still identifying the victim. (Regarding the results) we are still waiting for the results of the forensic doctor. Later the full details will be conveyed by the Tangerang Police Chief," he concluded.

Previously, residents of Talagasari Village, Cikupa, Tangerang Regency were shocked by the discovery of a woman's body wrapped in a mattress on Monday, November 11, this morning.

Tangerang Police Chief Kombes Pol Baktiar Joko Mujiono said that the mattress containing the corpse was found by a resident named Martono (54), at around 04.05 WIB, when the witness was about to leave at dawn.

"It is true that a corpse was found wrapped in a mattress in Talagasari, Cikupa, Tangerang Regency," Joko said in his statement, Monday, November 11.

He explained that initially the witness was suspicious of seeing his feet come out of the rolls of a blue mattress.

"When checked, it turned out that there were legs, the witness immediately reported it to the Cikupa Police and followed up," he explained.
