Bobby-Surya Team Reports Throwing Bobby's Car After The Pilkada Debate

The winning team for the candidate pair for Governor and Deputy Governor of North Sumatra number 1 Bobby Nasution-H Surya reported the throwing of Bobby Nasution's car and Kahiyang Ayu's wife after the regional election debate to the Medan Police.

"We made a report today for the incident last night, we have collected the evidence obtained at least there are videos and pictures," said Head of the Bobby-Surya Winning Team, Hinca Panjaitan, as reported by ANTARA, Thursday, November 7.

His party emphasized that the Head of the Legal Team for the Bobby Nasution-Surya Couple, Surya Wahyu Danil Dalimunthe, together with Secretary Ranto Sibarani and others, would immediately make a police report.

Hinca deeply regrets this incident, even though the mechanism for implementing the public debate between the candidate pair for Governor and Deputy Governor of North Sumatra 2024 held by the North Sumatra KPU has been agreed upon.

"In the first debate, we were the first to leave. In the second debate we last came out to anticipate things that were not desirable. I myself really enjoyed the substance conveyed by the two pairs of candidates," he explained.

Hinca said that when Bobby and his wife were traveling in the car, Bobby and his wife were escorted by the police to leave the debate location at the Santika Dyandra Hotel, Medan, Wednesday (6/11), there was a throwing sound.

The throwing action was when Bobby's car exited the hotel on Jalan Pengadilan to Jalan Captain Maulana Lubis, which was allegedly carried out by a group of people.

"Incidentally I was there, I had to be far away. I saw for myself what happened, there was a throw, but we don't know who threw it. I have coordinated the legal team that night also collected evidence to make a report," he said.

In addition, his party has also asked the Medan Police Chief Kombes Gidion Arif Setyawan to ensure the safety of Bobby-Surya supporters after the second debate.

"In fact, I went down to check so that our supporters had returned home and there was no problem, only the candidate car (the candidate pair) was thrown," said Hinca.
