Vocational High School Students In Cakung Are Threatened With Blindness After Being Sprayed With Hard Water

JAKARTA - MF (16) a student of SMK Iptek Jakarta became a victim of drinking hard water on Jalan Raya Pulogebang, in front of the Assa Assulfalah Mosque, RT 03/06, Pulogebang Village, Cakung District, East Jakarta.

The victim was doused with hard water by the perpetrators who met him at school. As a result of the incident, the victim's face overflowed to the point of injuring his eyes and other facial parts. The victim is in danger of being blind.

The victim, assisted by residents, was rushed to Pondok Kopi Islamic Hospital, East Jakarta, for intensive treatment. Meanwhile, the case was reported to the Cakung Police.

After receiving the report, the Cakung Police Criminal Investigation Unit immediately conducted an investigation and hunted down the perpetrators based on CCTV footage and witness statements. Then, the three perpetrators of sprinkling hard water on school students were arrested by buser members.

"Three perpetrators with the initials AF alias TM, FS alias F and FT were arrested. One adult with the initials TM was detained at the Cakung Police and two others ABH. One bottle of clear glass measuring 1 liter was confiscated," said Cakung Police Chief, Kompol Panji Ali Candra told reporters, Thursday, November 7.

Kompol Panji explained that the perpetrators took action when the victim came home from school using a three-cycling motorbike with his friend, the initials RS and MR.

Suddenly from the back left, the suspect came riding a three-cycling motorbike. The suspect ABH's position with the initials FS is carrying a motorbike. The suspect FT is in the middle.

Meanwhile, the suspect AF alias TM sat at the very back holding a glass bottle filled with hard water whose cover was tied with plastic.

"AF alias TM sat at the very back pouring water on the victim's initials MF, the victim suffered injuries to his head, eyes and neck," he said.

While in action, the three perpetrators searched for victims randomly. They also have no personal problems with the victim MF.

"So the suspect brought a bottle filled with hard water randomly or randomly, whoever they met was doused with hard water. Incidentally, the victim who met. The victim when the incident was riding a motorcycle, the three of them," he said.
