RK Claims To Control The Theme Of Third Debate, Pramono: We'll See Later

JAKARTA - Jakarta Governor Candidate number 3 Pramono Anung responded to the claim of candidate for Governor of Jakarta number 1 Ridwan Kamil who felt that he controlled the theme of the third debate or the last debate during the Jakarta gubernatorial election campaign.

The General Election Commission (KPU) of DKI Jakarta previously raised the theme of the third debate regarding city planning issues and climate change.

"Yes, it's okay (the RK claims to master the debate theme). We'll see during the debate," said Pramono in Cipayung, East Jakarta, Wednesday, November 6.

The former Cabinet Secretary said that he had prepared materials to be presented in the third debate which was held on Sunday, November 17, 2024.

Moreover, Pramono has also conveyed his ideas and programs regarding urban and climate planning during dialogue with the community during the campaign. So, in the third debate later, Pramono will deepen the program plans that he will run if he wins the Jakarta gubernatorial election.

"Hopefully this last debate will be sharper, the idea is more open, so that the public or society can understand what each pair of candidates is offering," he said.

Previously, Ridwan Kamil was confident to appear in the last debate to be held on November 17. RK emphasized that he already has 10 years of experience as a regional head. Therefore, he believes he can master the appearance in this third debate.

"As a leader, let alone having 10 years of experience, all dimensions of development, leaders must master it. So city planning must also (understand)," said RK in North Jakarta, Tuesday, November 5.

RK said he has a professional background in the field of architecture. Thus, he believes his appearance will be maximized in the last debate. "Indeed, my knowledge is there. So the last debate should be more convincing to the citizens of Jakarta," he added.
