President Prabowo Signs PP For The Elimination Of MSME Receivables

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto signed Government Regulation (PP) Number 47 of 2024 concerning the Elimination of bad debts to MSMEs in the fields of agriculture, plantations, livestock, and marine and other MSMEs.

The PP was signed by President Prabowo at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, witnessed by a number of officials from related ministries and institutions as well as a number of MSME entrepreneur associations.

"With this, the government hopes to help our brothers and sisters, producers who work in the MSME agriculture sector and as fishermen who are very important food producers, they can continue their efforts and be more efficient," President Prabowo said in his remarks as reported by ANTARA, Tuesday, November 5.

The Head of State said all technical requirements related to the regulation would be followed up by the relevant ministries and institutions.

In that agenda, President Prabowo signed three PP files, which are divided into fisheries and marine fields, agriculture, plantations and livestock, as well as the MSME sector.

The agenda of the event continued with a symbolic procession of submitting documents to a number of farmer groups and fishermen, including the Indonesian Palm Oil Farmers Association (Apkasindo) and the Palm Oil Farmers Union (SPKS).
