30 People Died As A Result Of Air Attacks, Israeli Military Again Orders North Gaza Residents To Evacuate

JAKARTA - The Israeli military issued a new evacuation order in the north of the Gaza Strip after carrying out an attack that killed 30 people.

Airstrikes damaged two houses in the city of Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza, where soldiers launched new operations since October 5, killing 20 people on Monday night.

Four other people died in the city of Al-Zawayda in central Gaza around midnight on Monday, medics said.

Palestinian health officials said six people were also killed in two separate Israeli airstrikes in Gaza City and Deir Al-Bala.

The Israeli military said, without providing details, its troops had 'terminated the terrorists' in the central Gaza Strip and the Greater Java region.

Israeli forces have also found weapons and explosives over the past few days in the southern region of Rafah. The location of the terrorist infrastructure is said to have been culled.

On Tuesday, November 5, Israeli planes dropped leaflets on Beit Lahiya ordering residents who had not left their homes and shelters to leave the city.

"To everyone who stays at home and shelter, you risk your life. For your safety, you have to go south," the leaflet reads in Arabic.

Palestinians say new attacks and Israeli orders for displaced residents are aimed at emptying two cities in northern Gaza and a refugee camp to create a buffer zone.

Israel said the evacuation was intended to keep civilians from harm when its forces were battling Hamas fighters.

Hundreds of Palestinian gunmen have been killed or arrested in the Greater Java region over the past month, the military said.
