JAKARTA - The candidate pair (paslon) for governor and deputy governor of DKI Jakarta number 3, Pramono Anung-Rano Karno spoke about his promise regarding the Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) to transportation development in this city during the inaugural grand campaign.

"We do not imagine that we will build big dreams. We will immediately resolve these problems in the community," Pramono said during his "Langing Festival" speech at the Jakarta International Velodrome Rawamangun Stadium, East Jakarta, Sunday.

Pramono said that currently the residents have complained about the problem regarding KJP.

According to Pramono, KJP is a right for people who deserve it.

Pramono saw the complaints of the public so far, namely taking care of KJP which is quite complicated because it must be taken care of at the offices in the Rawa Bunga area with complicated requirements as well.

"There's no need to be complicated later. It's enough for the KJP to be completed in their respective sub-districts," said Pramono.

In addition, Pramono talked about his promise to allow residents to graduate from elementary school and be able to read and write and become officers for Handling Public Infrastructure and Facilities (PPSU), not having to graduate from high school.

Pramono also emphasized that he would not build infrastructure and facilities for good areas such as Jalan Sudirman, Thamrin and Jalan Gatot Subroto.

"Fasilitas untuk orang-orang kaya sudah cukup. Sekarang yang diperlukan adalah perbaikan di masyarakat bawah, root grass," ujar Pramono.

Pramono also ensured that when Jakarta became a global city, Betawi culture would become the main culture in Jakarta that would be well cared for.

"As far as I know at the palace so far, there is no Betawi dish to entertain guests. Later when I become governor of Jakarta, I try to do that and every event will be opened with pletok beer," Pramono explained.
