Mutilation Victim's Family in Muara Baru Asks for Perpetrator Fauzan to be Punished Appropriately

JAKARTA - The family of the female murder victim with the initials SH whose body was mutilated between the head and body appreciates the disclosure of the case carried out by the Jatanras Polda Metro Jaya.

From the statement of Mohammad Soleh, the victim's brother-in-law, the family greatly appreciates the hard work carried out by the police.

"Alhamdulillah for the performance of the Polda, we are very grateful to the Jatanras Polda, I really appreciate it," said Soleh to reporters, Sunday, November 3.

After undergoing an autopsy, continued Soleh, SH's body was buried in the Binong area, Tangerang.

"I leave the punishment to the police. And I am very sure they will give an appropriate punishment," he said.

Meanwhile, the suspect Fauzan Fahmi admitted that he was determined to kill the victim because he was upset that his wife and parents were insulted.

The suspect made the confession when undergoing examination by investigators from the Subdit Jatanras Directorate of the Metro Jaya Police

"I was hurt, sir, the victim belittled my wife, my mother," said Fauzan Fahmi as quoted from the Instagram account @kasubditjatanraspmj on Saturday, November 2.

The insult uttered by the victim that caused the suspect to be hurt was to call Fauzan Fahmi's wife and parents prostitutes. The feeling of annoyance that led to emotion made the suspect blind and finally killed SH.

"The victim called my wife a prostitute, my parents a prostitute," said Fauzan.

For his actions, the suspect was charged with Article 338 of the Criminal Code (KUHP) subsidiary to Article 340 of the Criminal Code with the threat of the heaviest penalty of death.

This murder case began with the discovery of a headless female body in a sack in the dock area behind a gas station on Jalan Tuna, Muara Baru, North Jakarta, Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at around 10:29 WIB.

The body that was found without wearing pants was wrapped in five layers, namely a small sack, blanket, mattress foam, refrigerator cardboard, and a large sack.

The head of the woman's body was found behind the wall on the side of Jalan Inspeksi Waduk Pluit Utara, Pluit, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, Tuesday, October 29 at around 24.00 WIB.

Meanwhile, the crime scene (TKP) where the severed head was found was only a radius of approximately 600 meters from the location where the body was found.

The body of the woman with the initials SH (40) was the victim of premeditated murder by a man named Fauzan Fahmi (43).

Only a few hours after the discovery, the Subdit Jatanras Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya arrested Fauzan at his residence, Penjaringan, North Jakarta, Tuesday, October 29, 2024.
